1996 4x4 Explorer with electrical issues.

All of a sudden windshield wipers may or may not work, windows may or may not operate, brake light on dash comes on and off, interiorlights may or may not come on, What the heck is going on?

Sounds like a ground issue some where in the truck. It's going to be a lot cheaper to start with the ground than to start throwing parts at the truck. Did this all start happening at once or just one after another?

If the grounds are good, it could be a bad GEM module, a pinched wire in the steering column, or an an outside chance, bad multifunction switch in combination or caused by a pinched wire in the steering column too...
