1996 Explorer Alarm

Lately, whenever it rains, my alarm starts goes off, once or twice. Had to leave it unlocked last night, just to be sure.Thinking of changing Keyless Entry Remote Battery,Hope that helps. Any help???

When my '97 started behaving in a similar manner, I tracked it down to the hood switch. Glued a penny to the hood where it hits the switch so it would push a little harder on the plunger and it has been fine ever since. Good luck.

My alarm starting going off at random times. Replaced the battery, and that solved my problem .
