1996 explorer help

Hello, I am a little embarrassed .. i was looking for site for 1996 ford explorer to fix it myself. i landed here and it looks like you all maybe out doors in the dirt drivers. i drive in the street. I dont think my truck could take all that bouncing around. Any way i was having problems with my vehicle and here i am. Maybe someone can help. Heater noise. Sounds like hissing. I have a new radiator. Heater core. Some times it smells like hot? if that makes sense. I have been riped off so much i just decided to try myself and today i got injector cleaner. and a filter. i just learned it was hidden in a tube. But the heater hissing or sounds like its taking its last breath. this bothers me. But thank you for your time. (email removed by admin) bye now

Does the noise in the heater change when you change the fan speed? If so you may have debris - leaves and crap - down in the blower housing, or, the motor is going bad. Use the Search button and search out replacing blower motor. I'm sure there will be other replies after mine as well. Good Luck!
