1996 Explorer i think trans problems

Hello all, I dont know if this is the proper place to post this. bu there i go.i have a 96 explorer 276xxx miles. transmission was rebuilt. Now the problems, when put into reverse it takes a minute or two sometimes. also around 20 25 mph it takes a hard shift. so i had the fluid checked. the fluid is partially black. but not all the way. any information would be greatly appreciated.

If the fluid is black instead of red, your tranny is toast.

I would suggest checking the reverse servo, and the valve body gaskets as well. And if you are working on it yourself, go ahead and add a drain plug, you will be glad.

Doubtful, but it can't hurt.
