1996 ford explorer eddie bauer

Hi guys

I just bought a 1996 ford explorer 4.0 v6 and i been workin on it and it has been frusating me alot and i need some help. right now it ridin good but when i let it run for a while it start makin this wine noise and than act like it wants to cut off and it only does it when the truck is at idle. i already replace the EGR valve and the DPFE senor. i was thinkin would it be the IAC valve that cause it too do that.

Welcome to this forum! The IAC has been known to howl. Dogfriend had this problem in another thread, and he posted a video clip of it making this sound.

Welcome to Explorer Forum! IACV can be a pain the booty when they go bad. I think that is your problem.

i have another problem ok about 4 days ago i had to do a brake job new caliper, rotors, pads. and my ABS light is on on the dash i want to know what can i do too take it off.

You might have dirt on the sensor. The light indicates a stored code. Pull the code to see what the exact problem is.
