1996 Ford Explorer transfer case problem.

After changing the tranny and transfer case we have a loud constant noise coming from the transfer case, when put into gear. It shifts and runs great but the noise id constant and loud, Any suggestions???

Can you please be a little more descriptive? The more infor you can provide, the more help we can be. Just when in drive, or when in drive and moving? V6 or V8? Certain speeds, or only while standing still?
