I drive reasonably and try not to hit curbs etc, but I have 248,000km on my 1997 Eddie Bauer V8 AWD and have had no alignment problems until now. I have the pass. tire wearing on the inside and driver a bit of wear on inside. I believe that is camber related. I have to admit no rotation done for a long while. But the previous 2 sets of tires lasted a long time and no such wear.
I know I could have done something but the reason I question this is I also have a 2005 Ford Taurus which had a bit of a front end problem from day 1 and the dealer did not correct it but tires still lasted a long time(it has 130,000km in 10 years). However I just replaced 2 front tires on it and moved the rear to the front and after 5000 km have severe camber related wear on the Taurus. Now suggesting a kit and etc etc, for $1200 on the Taurus.

Do I need to go to another shop? Two vehicles on which I did brakes, alternator, tires and that''s it and now I am facing $1200 in repairs and very poor wear on front tires.
Seems strange on an Explorer that is showing some rust on the body but frame is pretty clean and absolutley no leaks on garage floor and no oil needed between changes but all of a sudden I have front end trouble on 2 vehicles.
