1997 explorer headlight issue

Hello all and thanks for your help,
I have a 1997 explorer and originally my driver's side headlight went out. It was not a bad bulb. I ran a "jumper wire from the passenger to the driver's side and this soultion worked for weeks. the computer would identify a headlight issue from time to time.
Now neither head lights work, only the high beams. Any suggestions on what this could be?

Its your LOM module... lots of posts... can be fixed (with a little solder "help") or replaced.
