My 1997 Explorer V6 just started running rough, especially during the initial start up, until it gets warm. It runs better then, but still a little rough. I have heard this engine has intake gasket issues. I hate to go thru the effort to change these gaskets on a guess. Should this running rough trigger a code message for me? check engine light go on?
