1997 Exporer start and dies right away do not start

Did you check the IAC (idle Air Control) switch as suggested about 3-4 posts back? I'm tellin ya I'm sure that's your issue. Get a new one.

bad IAC will give low pressure code on bank 1 or something to that effect

word of caution. I would do what ever possible to make sure the system doesn't backfire or you may be joining the rest of the world in the Timing Chain Slipped/Broke nightmare hell

This is a update what I do:
1. I check the IAC and cleaner but is not that.
2. I check the fuel pressure working fine still 40psi even when I crank my explore, it does not lose pressure.
3. I remove all spark to see if fuel goes into the cylinder and yes there are fuel in there that tell me the injector working.
4. I put a new fuel filter.
5. I check all connection and all pin from the PCM everything is good.
6. I check all relays and replace that one I see look bad.
7. I check the MAF it is fine.

But nothing the problem continue in this point I think if maybe the ignition coil or the PCM there are bad.

Certainly sounds like a spark issue, have you removed a plug and set it near some metal that it could spark against with the wire still attached?

I've not seen EDIS fail totally, I've seen the ground path for the coils develop some resistance and that usually causes a rough running condition, of course the coils can fail themselves as well in time. Good luck.

Put a timing light on it and see if it is firing in right spot.

Update:
1. I replace the Crankshaft Position Sensor with the plug because the original was broken.
2. Change the ignition coil for a new one.
3. Get a full working PCM from other Ford Explorer 97 without problem and nothing
the problem still there I clean the IAC but nothing then I order a new IAC to see!
4. after cranks my explorer I remove the spark 4 to 6 all have gas inside, check to see if I get spark and all spark working fine.
5. Check compression and is fine.

If like it missing air or not air coming inside!!! -- Question the IAC can make my explorer cranks but does not start?

Yes, the IAC, if it has fulled in a fully closed mode could prevent the engine from starting. Normally, the IAC is commanded to 100% open while cranking. Have you tried reading any of the codes from the EEC-V?

Yes I connect my scanner and does not show any codes, check with a basic codes reader and nothing.
I just going wait for the new IAC come to install and hope my explorer work!!

I sure hope so, I can't believe you're having such a rough time getting it to fire up!
