1997 Mounty Bumpers, what other years.

I need to replace the rear bumper on my 97 Mounty, what years have the same bumper as a 97? Doing a parts search and need to know the year range. Just care that it looks right on the vehicle, not looking for authenticity. My bumper is painted grey.

What is the difference in the explorer bumper? Besides the reflectors?

Anybody sell aftermarket bumpers for it?

I am open to suggestions.

The 97 is the only identical match you will find. However the 98-01 will bolt right up and those years are an upgrade in my opinion. The 98-01 do not have those goofey reflectors in the bumper. That is what I would go with if I were you.

The problem with a 98 & up bumper is that there is no provision for a license plate. Any 95-97 Explorer bumper will work.
