I already have a 1996 Explorer.
I am going to look at a 1997 Explorer and would like to know what 6 cylinder engine/transmission/transfer case options there were that year.
The reason is because the truck might need a transfer case but when I check car-part.com there are 3 part time transfer case options. One of them goes for around $150 and the other 2 are $500 or more.
