My 98 does the same thing, I haven't figured it out yet, but I imagine its a short or CD stuck in it. It stops after about 10 mins, but does it again the next time I get into it and start it. I'm replacing it this weekend so it's not a big deal at the moment.
When you hit the eject button does it go to radio, but no CD ejects?
With the weekend being pretty nice here in MO. I took the ex out for a drive, noticed that the CD and radio jumping back and forth did not happen at all when I was driving, like it never happened..What could it have been, electostatic, maybe the warm vs cold weather, (that sounds crazy, but I have learned some crazy mysterious things can happen with electronics) Anyhow, thought it may shed some light on issue.
