1998 Explorer Diagnostics

I have a 1998 Build date Dec1997 Explorer and need to read my fault codes. I beleive this car is OBD 2, am i right? So I should be able to read my codes with a reader like the one below

Am I correct in this?
Any recommendation on readers?

You should be able to read your codes with any OBD II reader or scanner.
