I want to swap from the Ranger stock roller cam to a street performance cam I want to know if I can swap to a non roller cam, and what additional parts and machining would be required to make this swap

What are you planning to run as an intake? Which injectors? What exhaust headers and pipes? What porting work is in the plan? Chips? What's the desired power RPM range? Are you trying to stay with stock pistons/compression?

Cam timing and lift has to be a part of an integrated whole. A high-lift cam without ECU programming, port and intake work to match is a wasted effort. The 2.5 is a durable motor, but without a lot of work isn't a high-rev screamer - which would be a lousy choice for a truck anyway...

Truck has a K&N cold air intake, air raid throttle body spacer, Jet chip, Accel coil packs and Live wire 10mm plug wires with e3 plugs, it also has a Summit cat back exhaust system. Planning on port and polish at time of cam swap, will also replace injectors at same time. Having a hard time finding a header for this truck.
