Anyone have an answer for this? I recently purchased an explorer that supposedly needs a transmission. However, to my surprise, it drives and shifts as long as you don't push too much on the gas. I've called Ford and they say it sounds like a driveability issue, and a tranny shop says sounds like plugged cats. Any input would be appreciated. Thx.
