If it is the same as my 98 SOHC Sport, it is on the passenger side just after the exhaust manifold. You may need to jack up the passanger side and remove the wheel to see it. It is a good way back there so you may need some light to see it.
Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread to the stock 95-01 section. The tip of the O2 sensor is in the exhaust pipe, so it can't get water on it when you go through puddles.
