- 1999 Explorer
I have a 1999 Explorer XL 4x4 with a V6 with 130000 miles. I noticed this problem 2 days ago and I am curious if it is a trans problem or a Valve Body problem or if it is something else that others have experienced.
When I am driving over 50 miles an hour, my Explorer seems to jump/jerk. It is intermittent and sometimes does it numerous times over and over. Sometimes it just does it once or twice. It is almost like I am blipping the throttle or something but I am not. The RPM's do not go up or down when it does it. Other then that problem the Explorer shifts fine. It does not slip when I take off or anything. I actually bought this Explorer 3 weeks ago and this is the first time it has done this. I would appreciate you guys input on this. Thanks.
