My 1999 Explorer has manual transmission. Every 2 or 3 days we have to add fluid to the hydraulic clutch. I am not able to see where it is leaking since it is a clear fluid. I'm looking for a diagram of the lines to attempt to find the leak and repair or replace it. Thanks for any information you can provide.

There's only 3 parts to the system: the clutch master on the firewall, the slave cyl inside the trans, and the hydraulic line that runs between them.

The line enters the trans on the drivers side of the trans, you can look there at the connection for leaking. A few inches away, there's a rubber grommet you can pull out to see inside the bellhousing and check the slave.

Take the rubber inspection cover off the tranny and see if there is fluid in there.

I bet its the slave cylinder.
