basically ive got a ford explorer with front drivers side damage to the a-arm and front crossmember.. welll i never got around to repairing it due to money reasons but im considering selling it. I was curious as to how much i could get for it in this condition. Fist, the hood has scratches and the front plastic is a bit messed up from a prior incident.. but everything else is in good condition. The transmision was recently replaced at a stealership for 2400 dollars along with 800 dollars worth of brake work. The engine has 100k on it the new trans has about 20K with i belive 10K left on the warranty. What should i do in the situation i want to get as much back out of it as i can. I was considering ebay, but i also saw some places in the phone book like salvage yards that buy damaged vehicles.... would i at least be able to get 1000 out of it? or more or less?
