hey everyone, new to site, just bought 1994 Ex, i have to increase rpms and let off and then slightly touch gas for it to shift, vacuum tree had screw in a port and i'm thinking it's causing the problem but not sure where the plugged port was originally hooked up. diagram on frame shows only 5 ports used, any pictures or diagrams of where it belongs would be appreciated

Welcome to this forum! The modulator has a vacuum line going into the tree. Check the intermediate band with a torque wrench to see if it's broken or out of spec. A delayed 1-2 shift when it's cold could indicate a governor issue.
