I purchased a 2000 Eddie Bauer 5.0L 10 days ago and it had 2 issues (1cruise not working 2. oil press. guage on 0 for 4-5 min. on cold start.) Thanks to your forum, I found solutions to both and fixed yesterday. 1.installed jumper on disengage harness to diagnose and replace $28. switch WAHLAH!. 2.replaced oil press sensor, BINGO! THANKS TO ALL THE CONTRIBUTORS TO THIS FORUM ON THESE ISSUES I'M A HAPPY CAMPER.
