Wish me luck everyone, im going off roading for the first time with my X this weekend...
Nothing serious just some dirt, mud, and loose gravel up a mountain side.
Any tips??

Make sure to take a camera and a passenger to take pictures. It absolutely astonishes people when they see an Explorer four wheeling, even if it's just the pictures of it.

yeah really camera and lots of fun, since everyone says the X's arent supposed to go wheelin. prove em wrong. good luck. oh yeah, make sure you have a fully charged cell phone, and a tow strap.

Oh yeah, I forgot the real most important advice! Make sure your's is not the only vehicle wheeling!! I have learned the hard way why not to wheel alone. (in a friend's Heep, didn't have my Explorer at the time)

LOL thanks for the advice guys, im looking forward to it. I hope my 4 wheel drive holds up, its never seen this type of action.
