1st timer, slightly moded 2000 exploder

i have a 2000 explorer/exploder, v8 awd (wish it was a selectable 4wd) does anyone know what the maximum sized tires i can put on the suv, at stock height ? i was considering, 31 x 10.5 x 15. i thk they will fit, at least they fit up under my 86 bronco ll

31s are only slightly larger than stock and should fit, minor trimming might be necessary if it has the fender flares and running boards.

Do a search for 4406 and you will find all the info needed for making your awd explorer 4wheel drive.

I just saw you live in Johnson county Kansas. I live in mission Kansas. Looks like we live pretty close to each other.

The aftermarket is huge for 5.0L fords, Best bang for the buck though is gears and transfer case they will make it quicker and more efficient, not faster. Plus low range is amazing with all the torque that 5.0 makes.
