I'm looking for the best way to get 2-3 inches of lift on my 4 door 4x4 1994 Explorer (That is alot of 4's) and I don't want to do a body lift because I think they look tacky. Any suggestions?

Thanks

General consensus of the board is probably, new 2" springs for front and shackles and/or add-a-leaf for rear.

Or just spring spacers on the front instead of new springs.

So just longer springs? also I will probably be getting all new suspension soon (Rancho 5000's most likely) will this effect it at all or have anything to do with it?

New shocks shouldn't effect the ride hight at all, however if you aren't going to get a body lift then you'll just be throwing your money away to buy a new set of stock travel shocks since a suspension lift will increase your shock travel.

For 4 inches of lift, the best bang for the buck is the rough country lift, right at 700 complete with new rear springs, anything over 2 inches will need brackets, and you will not be able to align the front.

Whoops, I read your post wrong, go with the skyjacker 2 inch lift, it is new coils, and add a leaf, under 175 bucks, also try the skyjacker shocks, I have had both and really can't tell a difference, the skyjackers are a little cheaper in price.
