Hi all,
My front right inner axle bearing went out, and damaged the axle in the process. I need a replacement spindle/axle assembly. My Explorer is a 2wd '98 4-door, and the fact that it's a 2wd is making it kind of hard to source a replacement locally.
That being said, there's bunches of 2wd spindles available on eBay, but most of them seem to be for the 2-door Explorers. I can't think of a reason why the 2/4-door spindles would differ for '98s, but thought I'd pose the question first to the board.
Is there any difference between the 2-door and 4-door front spindle/axle assemblies?
