2 door / 4 door

hi ...ole buckshot here...i got a 91 explorer sport 2 door...i need to replace the drivers side door...will a door from a 4 door explorer work? found several of them at a u pullit...thanks

The doors on the Sport/2-Doors are longer.

It will bolt on, but the rear of the door won't reach the back of the door frame, and there will be a few inches of gap.


When replacing the drivers side door, be sure to remove the original VIN sticker and either keep it or stick it to the new door, and take the VIN sticker off the new door, too. Otherwise you'll have "two" VIN numbers on a vehicle and that can trigger some legal problems in certain situations.
