Alright so ive been taking some time fixin up the old 91 edb, and was thinking about doing a simple 2" lift. On the other hand right now im on a tight budget, so im wondering if anybody thinks it would be a good idea to run with out shocks for about a month, till i can get some higher end ones for the lift??

BTW, the shocks i have right now are SHOT. Like not even working enough to be there shot, so even if i did remove them, i dont think i would notice, lol.

What does everyone else think??

Leave them in until you get new ones. If you take them out, you'll be scared ****less at how dangerous the truck is to drive, even if they are blown.

^^Agreed, the stock ones should still fit even with the 2" lift. So I would continue using those because even the worst shocks are better than no shocks. If you do take them off the truck will just be bouncing down the road and handling will be terrible. You'd probably be OK around town but the truck would be dangerous on the highway.

I figured that to, but im talking these are the originals still on, with one of the fronts with a rust hole through the side. lol Thats how bad these are.

i drove around an entire day w/out front shocks, including 25 miles on the interstate. it was ok except for hitting potholes and bumps, the truck would literally be all over the road.
