today i began changing out my spark plugs and wires. this was a PITA and i only had time to finish the driver side. is driving the car with the new plugs and wires on one side and the old plugs and wires on the other side harmful? also can anyone tell me how to remove the plastic guard behind the tire for easier access to the engine bay? i think this will make changing the other side a lot easier. as you can tell i am new at this, but would rather do the job myself, and you guys are very helpful. thanks.

Yes, removing the inner fender plastic is a must. There's a series of screws that run along the lip of the fender, as well as one or two at the top part of it. There very easy to remove and it will make the job a ton easier. Also, driving with new plugs and wires on one side only won't harm your truck.

thanks. i didnt think it would do anything. i have a feeling that the back 2 are going to be a real pain to get at.

I did a plug wire job a week or two ago.

Wheels off and removing the fender liners are BY FAR the hot ticket.
A nice collection of extnesions and a swivel also will be of huge benefit.
