Stock is 3.75" I believe, if so, +35mm will sink in like stock, +15mm fit perfectly to the fender (at least on my truck).

EDIT, was wrong, read Robb's post. :(

Stock width is 7", with 4.25" BS (might be 4", but I think 4.25).

edit: and lo, lets get a thread started in "Other Makes And Models" in reference to the Jeep.

20x8 with somewere around 5" of backspacing would be perfect.

And im with Robb- formal request for info on the Jeep. :D

ok, thread about jeep started in other makes and models

20x8 5 in bs. anyone on here know of a sport trac on 20's--wheel specs---

20x8 with 5" bs? no one has a pic of a sport trac on 20's? will 275/45/20 size tires fit on 8 inch wide wheels? 275

My 18s have zero backspace, would suggest the same for the 20s, fit is perfect IMO

backspacing= distance from back of wheel to wheel mounting flange
offset= distance + or - from centerline
same difference!!!

Nope, 4" bs on an 8" rim, has 0 Offset. :)

ok, so on a 20x8 the suggested back spacing is 4.5-5 inches? will this be inset a little or a flush fit with fender? that is what i am looking for, inset or flush at the least.

????????????????????????????????

ok i have my 20's and know need tires. what size do some of yall run. 275/45/20??? would this look ok. also will these tires fit on a 20x8 rim? not 9 or 9.5" wide.

275/45 is the size just about everyone uses. It looks best with about 2" of drop, but will look okay stock height too. Yes, it will fit on either rim width just fine.

You probably already have the wheels and tires on, but for information sake, I thought I would post my specs. I have 20X8.5" wheels wrapped in 275/45/20 tires. I am lowered 2" all around, and might have slight rubbing on the front swaybar, but no rubbing elsewhere. The front tires sit flush to the fender, but the rear are recessed and I am planning on adding 1.25-1.5" spacers in the rear to even things out. You can see in this picture what I'm talking about.
