2000 EB
Hi

Great forum folks. Lotsa good info here.

Question: I have a 2000 EB with the MACH stereo system. Can the CD Changer inputs be modified to act like a AUX input? I looked at www.pie.net for adaptors but I got lost.

I am trying to hook up a Panasonic Sirius unit that can be connected thru FM Mod :( or AUX RCA :) .

If this is not possible, how about adding an Panasonic HU with an adaptor that will allow me to retain all the stering wheel and rear consol controls as well as the factory amp and speakers? Possible?

I do realize that a complete new system, with new amps and speakers would be the best. I have a 2000 watt system in my Jetta. This is the wifes X and she is content with the stock system.

I already searched the forum for these questions but did not find any answers. Thanks!!

welcome!! I'm looking for the same thing for my XM SkyFi. PIE has a part ("FRDN-AUX") but the catch with it is you give up the use of your CD Changer. You can purchase it online at the store at www.xmfan.com

What I'm waiting to get is an adaptor from PAC. What it does is keep the CD changer and allows you to switch between 2 auxiliary sources. Their sales dept informed me it's expected out within a couple of weeks. Part no. AAI-FRD3. i wasn't given a price or confirmed it retains the use of the factory changer...
