hello.

i have searched and couldnt really find anything that was specific to what i need help with exactly....

1. the temp gauge does not work at all... i thought possibly that it could be the thermostat? but i really want to get advice from people on here about what it could be before i have to start digging into the motor.... (please include links AND or pics to help i would appreciate it)

2. the rear windshield wiper does NOT work WHATSOEVER. No motor noise, no spray nothing.

3. the front windshield wiper spray does not work at all. i have searched and found possible reasons could be a. the motor for the pump, b. the connection to the pump. what do u think the problem could be?

i would appreciate any help and comments on this. thank you in advance.

1. Temp gauge for the engine? That would be the thermostat. If you know it doesn't work, then you must have looked at it. What does it look like?

2. The front and rear wipers are all connected in the system, so there is a fault along the line somewhere. Does it try to squirt when you use it? Some more details would help

2. Replace the rear wiper motor, and sounds like the pump has gone bad at the washer tank.

1) Look for loose connectors or broken wiring to the sensors on the thermostat housing.

2) Just throwing something simple out there, I know i've overlooked it before......Did you check the fuse for the wiper system?

Who knows, you might get lucky and its something that easy.

You need to diagnose the problems methodically. Is there voltage going to the wiper motor and washer fluid pump? If not is there voltage at the connector? Work your way through the system and you will find the problem. The temp gauge is connected to a sensor on the engine, it's basically independent of the thermostat. I believe this particular sensor screws into the lower intake on the passenger side but i'm not 100% sure. Best of luck.

hello to all..

thanks for the replies.

i checked all fuses. all are good.

nothing squirts anywhere, cant even hear the "HUMM" noise its suppose to make when it squirts.

i do not know how to check the voltage for the wires or the motors....

the rear wiper does not move at all doesnt even squirt or make any noise whatsoever when turning the knob by the radio..... front ones move perfectly just does NOT squirt.

are there any diagrams to check anything listed here?

you guys are a big help, thanks once again.

I will have a used wiper motor for sale here in a few weeks.

The rear wiper motors are known for going. I'm on atleast my second one. If its something other than a bad motor I'd be highly suprised.
