I seem to have lost something electrical.
I have done the brown wire mod, and everything was working great.
I then noticed I didn't have low anymore.
I did have some electrical issues blowing fuses to my pcm on the weekens (Wire grounding at the coil pack that shouldnt be).
I figured the issue was related/created by me
Step 1, check for interior light, yup..ok power to the gem module
Step 2, check maxi fuse 4. Fuse is good with 13volts on both sides of it.
Step 3, check the brown wire (I soldered everything, so possible bad switch?
nope. I see a good solid 1.2volts when I switch to full time 4x4. What? 1.2?
Back to my battery with my meter to check and be sure the meter works. It works fine and measures full voltage at the battery.
I then check 'low' at the brown wire. 0 volts.
What am I looking at here? the GEM?
I dont know if 'auto' works, but I read somewhere that the transfer case defaults to auto when the electronics quit.
