2000 ford exp with p0303 and egr codes

hello, i have this ford exp 4.0 that has a p0303 #3 misfire.. and egr codes 401 and 400 i think, but after cleaning the plug and regaping them (new wires) the exp still misses.. but there is good spark to 3 cly, also when i pull the wire off the coil pack the engine changes.. so it leads me to think the egr system is malfunctioning. will the egr system cause rough idle like a miss? can the tubes et clogged? if so how to clean them.

It could still be a plug wire or a plug. Cruisin down the road it will sometimes misfire and that will throw the code.

well the 303 code turned out to be a plug.. even tho they were new.. guess it was defetive.. and the 401 egr flow code was the POS DPFE .. checked it.. repaced it now its all good..... time to sell this thing
