The BW 4406 is a big project by itself, especially for the Sport. I'd wait on that if needed, get the engine/trans swap up and running well.

If you buy a donor vehicle(more rare these days), it will cost more up front, but it's usually the cheapest way. Buying the parts separately is tougher because you have to have a complete parts list, which we have compiled fairly well a few times here. That can cost more in the end, plus often you have to hunt other sources for little parts missed, bad, or forgotten.
