2000 XL 4wd AT Head gasket leak? / h2o in oil

Any idea how much the work may cost? It is a very nice XL with only 82,000 mikes. I tried the barrs and it worked for a couple hours . any other work i should have done at the same time?

I was quoted $1600-$1700 for a shop to do it (New York).

I decided to do it myself, including changing the heads and water pump for about $700 total.
