its a 2001 4.0 explorer sport... sometimes the 4x4 will click in sometimes it wont! i cant not get 4x4 low to go in at all and the other day i was bored and put it in OD and it would not come out. i tunred off the vehicle and the OD turned off and hasnt worked sense....
i have replaced the 4x4cm
checked all fuses and relays
checked ALL connections and put electrical grease on all connections including under the car on the 4x4 motor.
still i have intermittent 4x4 high. seems to be worse when the heats on?
should i poney up for a GEM module? im going to jump the 4x4 motor into 4x4 low and see if that works... if it does then im stumped!!
and yes i am following proper ways to engage 4x4 and have also tried all the tricks!!
when it doesnt go into 4x4high there is no clicking from the 4x4cm. i have tried plugging nad unplugging when this hapens with no luck also!
