I have a 2001 Sport 4X4 4.0 SOHC 110K Miles . It has had a recent tune-up plugs and wires. Shortly there after the CEL came on, so i had it scanned and got P0171 & P0174 Codes (Right bank Lean, Left Bank Lean), After researching this, i was led to believe it was a bad upper intake manifold gasket, And kinda left it at that for a few months, Well when it got cold sub-zero temps, it would fire right up, but diesel and the RPMs would bounce around and if you didnt have your foot on the gas, it would die. Now with the sticky gas pedal you have to jab it a little to get going, if you hit it and let off, it dies. So this morning The f-n thing almost didn't start. If i had a weak battery, it wouldve been dead in the water, Had to Crank it over for at least a solid minute, multiple times. Even sprayed starting fluid up the intake, with no change. Steadily Pumping the gas even. This all happens when it is Cold and only the first start of the day. I went through with starting fluid and tried to check for Vaccuum Leaks, With no prevail. I cleaned the MAF sensor with Throttle Body Cleaner, got a new air filter and reset the computer,(unhooking the battery) Because my Diagnostics Port won't power up a scanner now, (checked the fuse, Its good). And i got some info from autozones website They claimed that A Good IAC should meter out between 7-17 Ohms??? or something like that, i don't have the paperwork infront of me. it metered out about 10 Ohms. Again Im not a Mechanic, But damn i'd like to think i try fairly well. CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH THIS ISSUE??? Thank you for your time
