I just installed a superior shift correction kit on my truck (5r44e). Everything went as planned and got it all back together with no leaks. Now I have no gears at all. I saw where someone else had the exact same problem and they said that Glacier991 helped them out. He said he took the transmission pan back off and had forgot to hook up the manual valve. That fixed his problem. But I’m not sure what manual valve he is referring to. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I moved your thread to our transmission forum.

That's the valve connected to the shift mechanism. So when you move your gear shifter, it's not manually moving anything in the valve body of the transmission.

I found that and got the manual valve connected. Now I’m having all kinds of issues with my transmission. It won’t shift into second gear unless I let off the gas. Sometimes I have reverse and sometimes I don’t. The o/d light is flashing also

Sounds too familiar. See the "5r55s Fail" thread.

I had the springs switched from the Transgo kit... then apparently messed up the spring that controls the 2nd/OD servo, so it was rubbing the control valve. I know that it's a slightly different valve body, but if you didn't change anything else... it's probably in there:
