2001 Mercury Mountaineer rear wiper blade not clearing window

Hello everyone, new here and searching for any suggestions. I have a 2001 Mercury Mountaineer AWD that i use in the fire sevice. I have the problem of the rear blade does not touch the window until the last quarter on the drivers side. I have tried new blades and no improvement. When i try bending the arm slightly it will make connection until it resets back below the window, and then the next time i turn it on it gets stuck in the space between the hatch and window. I am open to any and all suggestions. Thanks

There is a thread about removing a couple of tabs that will allow the spring to pull the blade onto the window better.
I may have saved the link on my home computer, which I will check tonight.
Otherwise you can use the search option (upper right) for rear wiper fix or similar.
