2001 Sport Trac. Lower right side of the dashboard is clicking.

My 2001 Ford Exporer Sport Trac occassionally has a rapid clicking sound coming from the lower right dash. This happens now only in cold or cool weather and generally only sometime during the first 5 minutes of driving. It will stop clicking very quickly after stopping the vehicle and will then start again when one starts moving. The clicking will last only for 2 minutes max and will then stop. It does this with the ventilation control in any setting including the 0 or off position. The truck runs fine at the moment; it simply makes this rapid clicking sound which makes me think someting is failing. The Ford garage has no clue.....

Try this. If you use your trip meter, record it somewhere. With the key in run, remove the cluster fuse, wait 30 seconds and then replace it. Does it make the same noise?
