2001 SportTrac 4wd Wont start not even with ether but has spark

Hello all. Am an old school engine guy and I am a firm believer in spark, fuel and air (and compression). My Sport trac ran a little rough a couple days before it now wont start in the bank parking lot. I am about to spray rather than replace the IAC after an evening (in the bank parking lot) of resetting the computer and trying ether in the air intake tube. We ran the battery down a bit and I noticed the spark at the plugs was yellow and not a nice blue color. I ahve the option of replacing the IAC. I replaced it about 5 years ago. Any ideas or suggestions in the matter are appreciated. I see the security light blink but not rapidly. I'd imagine if security was an issue I wouldnt get spark at all at the plugs. (I'd imagine)

Pats problem will not crank.. no radio no heater no window nothing will work.. if it cranks my guess is no fuel.. or no compression.. broken timeing chain..

timing change intact. I checked looking in oil filler while someone else cranked.

fuel, yeah we smell fuel. I am wondering if it is in fact the IAC after all but will certainly update after replacing it.

Check the fuel cutoff inertia switch and connector.
Should at least fire with ether or a faulty IAC.

I bet it is the inertia switch as well. This is exactly what my '05 did when the switch was going bad, and then died.
