Let's start off by what led up to the problem. We replaced the battery several months back. After tightening and tightening the ground wire terminal, we finally ran out of room, so the ground wire literally lays on the ground terminal.
We never had a problem with this until the other day, corrosion was evident on the wires, not the terminal. Took the wires apart, added a new ground and tightened back to the ground terminal. Now it is snug and nothing wrong with the ground on the truck. Starts right every time now with no problems.
After doing this, we noticed the A/C is not working. I did the research for the fuse box locations and fuse diagrams. Checked the fuses in the dash, all are pulling up good. Even pulled them in case there was a problem that may have been intermittent.
Then went to check the Motor fuse box. Check all fuses in there and all are good. Replaced the couple in the fuse box just to make sure (better to be safe then sorry). Next was the relays. Pulled out the AC relay and switched with another like relay to see if the A/C would start working again. Nothing, not even the slightest blowing from the vents. Switched the relays back around, but checked to make sure I have power going to the relay plugs. Everything checked out good there with power going to all fuses and relays.
Now I am stumped as what could have caused the problem, or what the problem could be. Could anyone give help as to what to look at next on the truck. The only thing that is not stock on the truck is the headunit.
