I have a 2002 EB Explorer with the 6CD indash changer. I think its a Mach460 model (found that info on another site). Audiophile version??

I have 7 speakers with the subwoofer in the back right rear side.

I attempted to hook up the USA SPEC ipod adaptor, but I don't seen to have an AUX function. The AUX function works in other units by pushing the CD buttom twice.

Can anyone confirm whether I have an AUX function or whether the AUX function is "broken". If I don't have an AUX function, I'll need to return the USA SPEC unit since it won't work without it.

I asked CobraJeff about this and waiting for an answer, I posted this information in the hopes it saves someone else the hassle of the purchasing an adaptor that doesn't work.

The pic I've attached is a link to the exact image of my headunit.

With mine, i have the RSE/Rear radio controls, might be different ? Anyways, i went from a base radio to the Audiophile. To switch to the the Rear Input (which is what your module is actually using) i have to us the button on the steering wheel, Music button, when i do i get the added Video and an Aux. The CD button on the radio only switches to CD.

Add'll info

Well unfortunately neither my steeing wheel nor my HU seems to activate an AUX circuit.

My head unit is 1L2F-18C815-BD and I can't seem to find any concrete answers as to whether this HU has an AUX circuit or doesn't. It does have a functioning DSP and radio display (RDS) circuit.

So it looks like I'll have to return the iPod adapter.
