I have a 2002 Ford Explorer with a 4.0L and it won't start. I checked and have 60psi rail pressure and I also have spark. I have no codes and it cranks fine. It died while driving down the road. I am at a lost here, any ideas of things to check?
It cranks freely and there are no abnormal sounds. It does not sputter or seem like it is going to start, it just cranks away. What is the timing issue you speak of?
