2002 Explorer 4x4 not working

The auto 4x4 works fine.The transfer case ecm was bad replace it.Now the system will switch from auto to 4 high and 4 low but not lock in from the back drive shaft to the front.Truck on the hoist auto kicks in to the front wheels at about 15 mph or 30 seconds push button to 4 high does the same thing,4 low does the same thing but in a low gear reduction.What can I check? Should the magnet be energize in 4 high and low?

The clutch should be locked in high or low. Your clutch is almost surely bad.

Found the new use transfer case module was bad. The box was open and it look like it was use Install a new one out of a seal box and it work fine. THANKS FOR THE HELP. Clutch engage all the time in 4 high and low.
