Hi everyone, I'm a new member looking for some help w/ a window problem. I checked the threads and was able to rule out a couple things but still looking.

2002 Limited V8
The passenger switch quit last year and the driver switch was going recently when I found if I pushed it at a 45 deg. angle it would function. It stopped the other day and pass window is stuck down.

There is 12V on the bl/bk wire on driver side in the ACC pos. Black ground wire has 2 ohms to frame. Tried to jump wh/yel wire to 12v bl/bk to raise window, no luck ( don't know if this would work anyway ).

Wires do not look pinched inside rubber flex / grommets.
I found the driver switch cluster online for $48 but not sure it will correct the problem. ANY suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Or even a way to raise window until prob is found.

I had a simular problem with my 02' Sport. I was operating the window one day when I heard a different kind of click. The window went down, but I had to massage the switch a lot to get it back up. After dissecting the switch assembly I found that there was a little plastic rocker that controlled the up/down movement of the window. After trying to repair it with glue and all sorts of epoxies I gave up and bought a switch from e-bay. I installed it and it fixed the problem. On a side note, I found out that the driver side is a the master control for the windows and the passenger side was more of a dummy switch. Hope it helps.

Similar situation with mine, windows stuck down, brand new stereo system, at baseball practice in the worst possible part of town... just replaced the switch, no idea what was wrong with it.

Did your stereo make it out alright?
