my abs light came on in my 04 and i changed the sensor in the rear end. It is located on top of the differental . I Took a shot in the dark and it worked no more light and cost me 30$ for the ford part.
i read too there is a sensor up front near ( or on i forget) the brake fluid reservoir that normaly goes out.
could be a few things. Maybe a wheel sensor too.
I do think there are 4 sensors. One on the rear end, 2 up front on the wheel bearing hubs, and one on/near the brake fluid reservoir . could be wrong.
