2002 Ford Explorer air conditioner problems.

Hi everybody, I have a Ford Explorer 2002 XLT and I need some help with my air conditioner. It started running warm. Does anybody out there know how to recharge the system. Or what I should need to do to problem solve. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone out there know which side I recharge the air conditioner on, the low side or the high side and where is it located? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Not sure if you have figured out what this problem is yet, but since no posts here I figured I would try to offer some info on an issue I came across. Under the dash right behind your glovebox is your recirculation box, fresh air box etc. This box has a door on it to allow fresh air to come in when the ac is turned off and closes when the ac is turned on. If this door has broken off you will continue to get air through that box and only way to fix it is to replace it. I just paid someone to replace mine and it was about $300 for the labor since the dash has to be pulled to replace it. Hope this helps. You may want to check to see if this is the issue, a easy way to check is by changing the ac from max to regular and the air speed should change if its not this issue.
