2002 Ford Explorer xlt 4x4, hazard flashers won't flash.

The relay may have gone bad. Especially if the lights flash once or twice, or come on but do not cycle.

I can only recommend youtube vids to the process of change-out as there are numerous. Not all require the same removal technique, but it does involve a bit of good grip and contortion to pull on them.

I had a fun one with this on my 2004. The turn signal flasher and hazard flasher are the same relay on mine. I had to remove the driver seat to get enough space to work.

Learn from my mistake. Don't try to remove the fuse panel to get to the back of it. You'll wind up with a bloodied hand and bruised ego.
